Youth Voice at the Capitol!

Solano Youth Voices (SYV) Council member, Beck, testified at the Assembly Education Committee today about how AB8 could affect youth. Beck shared their personal story and data from the needs assessment SYV conducted of youth in Solano County last year. Did you know that more than a third of over 700 youth surveyed chose Mental Health as a priority issue area? More than a third also said they had experienced mental health challenges themselves.
